(TH) สภาธุรกิจตลาดทุนไทยเข้าหารือดร.อุตตม สาวนายน รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง นำเสนอข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อสนับสนุนนโยบายรัฐบาล ด้านการสร้างบทบาทของไทยในเวทีโลก ด้านการปฏิรูประบบการออม ด้านการพัฒนาระบบนิเวศเพื่อรองรับการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจยุคใหม่ และด้านการพัฒนาระบบการให้บริการประชาชน เมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม 2562 ณ กระทรวงการคลัง

FETCO Investor Confidence Index (ICI) for the next three months rose for the second consecutive month, becoming bullish for the first time in five months. The survey found foreign capital inflows and US monetary policy had the greatest positive impact on investor confidence, while concerns about ongoing trade war negotiations and the earnings of listed companies dragged down investor confidence.

FETCO Investor Confidence Index (ICI) rose for the first time in four months while staying within the neutral zone for the fourth consecutive month. The proprietary trader ICI experienced a substantial increase from bearish to very bullish. Retail investor ICI increased from the bearish zone into neutral. Local institutional investor confidence jumped from neutral territory into bullish, while foreign investors remained neutral.

The Investor Confidence Index for the next three months continued to fall while remaining in neutral territory for the third month. The survey found that foreign trade disputes had the greatest negative impact on investor confidence, while expectations for the establishment of a new government and government policies are factors boosting investor confidence.

FETCO Investor Confidence Index (ICI) for April stood at 104.49, down 2.83% and staying within the neutral zone. With regard to the ICIs for each investor group, the foreign investor ICI fell to 100.00, dropping into the neutral zone from the previous month's bullish. Local institutional investor and retail investor ICIs rose slightly to 110.00 and 100.00, respectively, residing in neutral territory as before. Proprietary trader confidence index increased to 127.7, jumping into the bullish zone from neutral in the prior month.

The Investor Confidence Index for the next three months slid back into neutral territory from the previous month's bullish level. The survey found that investors believe the political situation resulting from the election is the main factor affecting investor confidence. Meanwhile, the new government's stability after the election and the results of trade policy negotiations between the US and China are factors dragging down investor confidence.

The survey found investor confidence being bolstered by the political situation with the elections scheduled in March as well as by the performance of listed companies. Meanwhile, investors remain wary of US–China trade policy negotiations and the post-election stability of a new government.
